Easy and Great Don't Mix

Pastor Stephen Chandler writes in his book Stop Waiting for Permission,

"Don't let easy distract you from great."

The problem is, those who we see become "great" make it look easy. That is why I appreciate stories that share the struggle that help sculpt the great. Greatness doesn't happen or come easy. There has to be struggle, failure, iteration, and continued development to uncover greatness.

So don't fall to the easy, lean into the struggle that will make you great.
